ウェバーは昨年、シーズン中にマウンテンバイク事故で肩を骨折。しかし、現在は開幕前にバルセロナで行われるテスト走行に向けて準備万端 だという。「自転車トレーニングをたくさん積んでおり、コンディションはすこぶるいい」と、新たなシーズンに向けて意欲を燃やしていた。
