「NewスーパーマリオブラザーズWii サウンドバンク」は、硬貨（コイン）を入れるとマリオがコインを取った効果音が出る貯金箱です。

ラインナップは全部で「ハテナブロック」「レンガブロック」「カラブロック」「ハテナブロック（地下）」「レンガブロック（地下）」「カラブロッ ク（地下）」の6種類。さらにシークレット1種類が用意されています。

なお、コイン音以外にも効果音がなるとのことです。
