プロレスラー・佐々木健介とタレント・北斗晶夫妻の長男、佐々木健之介（小6）くんと次男・誠之介（小2）くんが9日、「すてきなパパ」で配信デビューした。同曲は、保育園・幼稚園児を中心に大人気の「父親参観・父の日」の定番ソング。レコーディング当日は試合で立ち会えなかった健介は「CDで聴いたわが子の歌声はパパへの気持ちがこもっていて、感極まるものがあった。二人が歌っている光景がはっきりと目に浮かびました」と目尻を下げた。 

　バラエティ番組に一家で出演し、知名度も高まっている健之介＆誠之介のわんぱく小学生兄弟が、パパのプロレスデビュー25周年に歌のプレゼントを贈ることになった。歌唱するのは、二人が幼稚園のころ父の日に歌い、健介が号泣したという思い出の曲「すてきなパパ」。「2番の歌詞がすごくパパの性格に似ている」（健之介）という兄弟お気に入りの楽曲だ。 

　初めてのレコーディングに臨んだ2人は、上手に歌えるまで30回以上も歌い直すほどの頑張りを見せ、「ちょっと間違えて緊張しました」（誠之介）と言いながらも、「練習よりうまくできてよかった」（健之介）と満面の笑顔。録音ブースにつきっきりで二人を優しく励ました北斗は「パパの25周年の記念にもなるし、男の子だからそのうち声変わりもするので、いい記念になりました」と母親の顔を見せた。 

　同曲は、メジャーレコード会社初のベビー＆キッズレーベルで、イクメンサポーター企業にも登録されている「ハイハイレコード」から9日より配信スタート。CD5枚組ボックス『母とおさなごの歌　第3版』（3月2日発売）にも収録される。
